Bureau M.F.J. Bockstael (www.bockstael.be) was founded in 1937 and specialises in the protection of intellectual property rights for both technical innovations and new trademarks, logos or designs. It has a wealth of expertise in patents, brands and models. A team of experts advises both SMEs and large companies on the best protection strategy and provides professional support throughout the registration process.
The organisation currently has 22 employees. In addition to the head office in Antwerp, there are branch offices in Ghent, Hasselt, Herentals and Kortrijk. Bureau M.F.J. Bockstael has ambitions to grow, both organically and through targeted acquisitions, initially in Belgium.
Tinneke Jacobs, Lieven Van hunsel and Jo De Wever make up the new management team, with Tinneke Jacobs as CEO. In January 2022 Robur Capital acquired a majority stake. Bockstael management has also taken a share in the company.
