MIDES is a fast-growing engineering consultancy firm providing project sourcing services. Organisations that do not have the resources they need for their own technical projects can rely on the expertise of MIDES engineers. The company offers specialised project support for a variety of different assignments, ranging from industrial and architectural projects to controlled shutdowns, maintenance and production optimisation. Other specialty areas are CAD engineering for a wide range of technical applications, and 3D scanning of technical plants, buildings and entire sites. MIDES currently employs 220 engineers, who work in its offices in Roeselare and Geel or on-site at clients’ premises.
In September 2016 Robur Capital invested in the management buy-out of MIDES by Managing Director Koenraad Stockman with the aim of helping MIDES to consolidate its growth. Robur Capital took a majority shareholding of 60%; the other 40% was held by Koenraad Stockman. On 24 October 2018 Robur Capital sold its stake to House of Talents.
